Shenzhen Metro Hours During the Spring Festival

Shenzhen Metro is about to start its Spring Festival holiday schedule, which will extend operation for 20 days before and after the Spring Festival.
Metro Hours Will be Extended All Seven Days of the Holiday
The 2020 Spring Festival holiday is 7 days from January 24 to January 30.
The Spring Festival travel time is from January 10 to February 18 for a total of 40 days, including 15 days before the festival and 25 days after the festival.
In order to meet the travel needs of citizens and effectively respond to changes in subway passenger flow during the Spring Festival, the Shenzhen Metro will implement a special Spring Festival schedule from January 20 to February 10.
The entire subway network (including Line 4) will be extending the operating service by 1 hour, on January 20, January 21, January 29 to February 2, a total of 7 days, and adjusting the operating time to 06:30-24:00.
Additionally, some transportation hubs; such as high-speed rail, airports, and ports will also extend their operating hours for 13 days during the Spring Festival.

Earlier Start Times
From January 24 (New Year's Eve) to February 2, for a total of 10 days, all stations of the Shenzhen Metro network will be operating 10-15 minutes earlier.
Subway lines 1, 3, and 11 will operate 10-15 minutes earlier for an additional 8 days, from February 3 to February 10.
More Trains Added
144 additional trains will be added on Lines 1, 3, 5, and 11 during the peak hours of the Spring Festival.
Extra Staff to Manage Flow
Shenzhen Metro will dispatch additional staff and subway volunteers at traffic connection stations such as Luohu, Futian, Shenzhen North, and Buji. Additionally, extra support staff will be deployed at key locations such as entrances, gates, escalators, platforms, and passageways to further strengthen service guidance and passenger traffic guidance.
All posts will also be on a 24-hour on-duty system to ensure the stability of vehicles, rails, signals, power supplies and escalators, and the state of travel and passenger equipment, and strengthen linkages with transportation hubs, subway public security and other relevant units to fully protect subway travel safety.
