New Shekou Ferry Terminal at Prince Bay Port

Doors will open soon as the first stage of construction at the new Prince Bay Port is almost finished. The new 12-story facility, covering 40,000 square meters, will take over customs/border crossing from the original Shekou Ferry Terminal and will also have commercial offices, scenic views, leisure and entertainment activities.
Ferry services will continue to link Shekou, Shenzhen to Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong Airport, Macao and Zhuhai. So far no changes to the schedules have been announced. If there are, we'll update our Ferry Schedules.
Prince Bay Port in Shekou, Shenzhen is the only domestic Chinese port that can accommodate the larger 220,000 ton cruise ships. There will be 2 berths to accommodate 2 vessels at any given time. Once completed, Prince Bay Port is expected to be the waterway transportation hub for the whole city. We're told the facility will then be full of businesses and shops and look something like the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal at Central on the inside.
Exactly what day the new terminal; which is built on reclaimed land, will open has not been announced. However, we've heard that it is expected to happen before November 13th, 2016; the sail date of the first StarVirgo voyage from Shekou.
